We have restored and repaired vintage and antique furniture- something which we have specialised in over the past decade even setting up a separate shop in Nottingham.
History of R.Fugrey
R. Fugrey was founded in 1903 by Ronnie Fugrey, an Irish Tailor who was the fourth generation of tailors in his family. After working with his father in Cork since he was a young boy, when Ronnie married in 1902 he decided to leave his home country for England to set up his own successful business. Himself and his wife Kate, worked hard to keep the business thriving, with many customers daily it was hard to survive with just two members of staff. But they did it, with the demand however they needed to employ more staff, after the outbreak of the Irish civil war in Ireland, Ronnie and his wife employed many refugees and immigrants of war. Providing them with money and accommodation when they first arrive in the country. The business has been in the family ever since with Ronnie's great great-grandson now running the business.

We also design clothes from templates if you provide the template and fabric. We also alter and measurements of soft furnishings such as bedspreads, furnishing and we can even help you design the soft furnishings for your house. We also repair damaged material to the highest quality.
